in een paar dagen tijd heeft Jongste zomerblonde plukken in zijn haar
en
zoals ik eerder schreef
als ik de zee mis kijk ik naar zijn ogen
die zijn grijs, dan groen of blauwer....


summery blond

in a few days time Youngest has summery blond pieces in his hair
and
as I wrote earlier
when I miss the sea I look at his eyes
which are gray, then green, or blue....
 

gisterenavond

zoals ik al eerder vertelde bouwen we het decor van de musical
in een aardappelschuur bij een boer in de buurt
alleen dit jaar werden de aardappels er veel later
uitgehaald dan voorgaande jaren
maar, gelukkig wel op tijd
zodat we gisterenavond alles min of meer neer konden zetten
zoals volgende week in het theater
omdat de leerlingen vandaag zouden komen kijken
ik ben heel benieuwd....
de musical gaat over allerlei verwikkelingen in het Olympisch dorp


yesterday evening

as I mentioned earlier we build the decor of the musical
in a potato shed at a farm nearby
only this year the potatoes were taken out
much later than previous years
but, luckily in time
so that yesterday evening we could build it all more or less
as it will be in the theater next week
because the students would come to watch today
I am very curious....
the musical is about all kinds of entanglements in the Olympic village

buiten is het zomers warm
daarom lopen we 's morgens vroeg ons rondje door het bos
's middags werk ik aan de belettering van de tekstborden voor de musical
terwijl ik luister naar dit
en Splinter zich vermaakt

so we walk our tour through the forest early in the morning
in the afternoon I work on the lettering of all the text panels of the musical
as I listen to this
while Splinter entertains himself
 

ondertussen

ondertussen, op het schoolbord

ondertussen, is het  plukseizoen begonnen
ondertussen, maakte ik mijn allereerste pompon
ondertussen, bloeit de akelei

ondertussen werken we hard aan het decor
de uitvoering van de musical is op 1 juni
en dat is al zo snel....
