drawing challenge: blanket

blanket
cover
tuck
warmth
safe and comfortable
when I was pregnant for the first time I bought blankets
soft, creamy white blankets of 100% brushed cotton
to hold the baby in and for in its crib
when the boys grew older the blanket kept them warm
on the bench when they were sick
I still have them, those soft white blankets
one of them I use when printing fabric
for cushioning my work surface

for more blankets visit miss Greta

drawing challenge: deken

deken
toedekken
instoppen
warmte

  5. I still have the blankets of my two babies ( well they are kids now) ... I don't know why. I have given away clothes and toys and shoes and ...everything. But not the blankets. My daughter warms her doll babies with them ....

  12. I still have blankets from all of mine and find it difficult to give them up. The texture is so reminiscent of that divine time when they were so new and we were so innocent!
